Founder and Creative Director of Say it with a Song, I wrote my first song, unintentionally, in my early  teens.  Growing up surrounded by a musical family, I found my grandmother’s piano irresistible.  After years of playing ‘by ear’ I began piano and singing lessons. Influenced by gospel and contemporary music, I continued to write original songs.  It was my High School Principal who launched my ‘public appearances’ in school assemblies after discovering me singing and playing in a school practice room.

As I continued to sing and play original songs in church, pubs and cafes, invitations to sing at special events for family and friends soon followed. 

The requests for songs to be written, especially for weddings, birthdays and funerals, was the beginning and making of Say it With a Song

Singing and playing piano, publicly, from the age of 15, I draw from 14 years of experience and the varied opportunities I have had to perform including: for weddings, receptions, fashion parades, and at popular social venues, often accompanying myself on the piano.

As lead singer for bands Soul Company and Shiver, I enjoyed singing covers for 3 years at many respected establishments including: the Hyatt, Stamford Grand, Hilton, Radisson Playford, Park Royal, Ayers House and Adelaide Casino, as well as for corporate and private functions.

For 5 years, I sang lead vocals and co-ordinated bands, other vocalists and choirs in rehearsal and performance for large community events and weekly services as Creative Director of a large church.

I continue to write and sing my own songs while enjoying the opportunity to write and perform for my clients of Say it with a Song.
